Market Exhaustion

International Quilt Market started for me last Wednesday and ran through Sunday. On Wednesday we made the 2 hour drive to Kansas City and began set up. Here are some shots of my booth. I am pleased with the way it turned out. Eric built the walls from faux brick panels and we used wrought iron accents. I think it made a nice backdrop for the quilts.
This was a very busy market for me. I want to give a huge Thank You to all who stopped by the booth. This market I had the five new patterns, my new fabric line and the new book with KC Star. I also had a son who graduated on Saturday evening, which meant a super fast trip home for graduation and back to market. Whew! I did not get out of the booth to take photos except a couple of quick trips. I will post more photos and news soon.
Here are my quilts in the KC Star booth. Karen Mowery's quilt from her book A Bountiful Life is right next to me. Love it!
On the left is Nancy Rink's quilt that pays homage to the Lowell mill girls and on the right is Sheri Howard's Pretty Petals. Awesome!
Here is Gretchen of Primitive Quilts and Projects. Judy and Jeni were out looking around. Watch for exciting new stuff from me with Primitive Quilts and Projects.
Now off to fill orders. I have lots of photos from the Henry Glass designers coming up! Check back.
Happy Quilting, Dawn

  4. What a Market you had, Dawn! The brick panels were an inspiration and the lantern looks great hanging there. How cool that you were only two hours away. I love that our quilts were hanging next to each other.
