YIKES!

I have been meaning to post for some time but this has been my focus. We moved! This is not a very good shot. It was cold and the sun was blinding. I think you get the idea though. A new house means lots of work. We had to do a ton of painting. Every room was a different primary color which was just not my thing. Then there is the job of unpacking and putting things away.

Things are a little sparse but for the most part it is starting to look and feel like home. We have so much more room here! I need to decide on things like what kind of rug I want under the table. I am also still curtain shopping. The house has a ton of windows. And somehow along the way it became 2013!
I am just now getting back into the swing of things- quilt wise. 2012 was a great year for me and I am hoping that 2013 will be just as good, if not better.
I have quite a bit of travel in the works to speak and teach. I am also working on several ideas for new patterns. Look for more wool projects too.
This is a peek at a block from a new quilt that is in the works. (Very wrinkled.)
And another peek.
Also, the new issue of Primitive Quilts and Projects magazine will be shipping later this month and I have a project in it that I am really excited about. So now that you know what has kept me away, I better get to work! Happy New Year to all of you! I will be back with a post on wool and wool applique this week.
Happy Quilting, Dawn
