Little Wooly Baskets Blocks 7&8

I can't believe it's already Little Wooly Basket time. April flew by in a blur. So much to get taken care for my mom really made the days go by quickly. I am starting to get back into the groove of things. My days are my own again and I am slowly getting caught up. Thank you all for your kind thoughts, words, comments and emails. I am overwhelmed at your kindness!
Above you can see Block 7- coneflowFers and below we have Block 8- chives.
I thought we needed something a little summery and my friend Ann had just shared a photo with me of her gorgeous chives  so I that's what I went with. We only have 4 more blocks to go!
I am heading to Warrensburg Mo this evening to do a trunkshow so I am pressed for time. I will be back this week to let you know what I have coming up for Quilt Market. I am pretty excited and I hope you will be too. Free patterns are no longer available. The entire pattern will be available for purchase soon.

Happy Quilting, Dawn

  1. Oh, has the time flown by, pretty soon our baskets will be done. I've kept up with making them, but the stitching won't be finished for awhile, as I save this for "travel" work in the car. Thank you for being generous with you time and talent as it's so appreciated. I can't wait to see how the setting will be, beautiful I'm sure.

  4. I can't believe I've not finished stitching the last two yet. I tacked them down ages ago and need a few more finishing stitches on both. These new ones are lovely. Time to make basket fabric decisions again.

Thanks so much Dawn, glad your mom is feeling better. Belated Happy Mothers Day to you both.

  5. Love the blocks you are making and seeing how everyone has done theirs. I have been collecting them and as soon as I get organized, I can get the blocks ready and start working on mine.

  6. Thanks very much for this month's patterns, Dawn. It's looking really cute so far!

I don't know why I thought there would be 24. I must have read "twelve," and "two per month," and jumped to the wrong conclusion!
