Here is my latest pattern. It is called Selene. It uses one layer cake and 1/2 yrd. of black for the border strips. As I said in the last post, the fabric is Luna Notte. The fabric is gorgeous, don't let my crappy photo fool you. 
The quilt finishes at 38"x 51" and the applique blocks are 18" finished. When Moda first sent me layer cakes to design with I was unsure of how to make them work for me. I am now really loving them. The fabric lover in me is happy to get a piece of each fabric in the line. I also really like being able to do traditional style applique in a project that finishes rather quickly. The patterns are now ready to go so I think a giveaway is in order.

Dawn, it's gorgeous! And those fabrics are to die for. I really love how you've taken a traditional pattern and used prints instead of solids for the appliques, and I really love the black print borders too. Gee, why didn't I think of that...I've always avoided black since it's a cat hair magnet, but the print would disguise it.
