Mad Dash to Market

I am getting down to crunch time now. I have 6 patterns to have ready for Market , am finishing a book and trying to squeeze in some projects from the strike offs of my new line "Best Wishes". It is so exciting to work with fabric that you have created. It is fun to see how well the prints work together in "real life". Above is the progress I have made with the quilt. I showed part of the center block in a previous post. I still have berries to add and a bit of embroidery. I am pretty happy with the way it is coming together. This is about the size it will be. I am pretty limited at what I can make because I only have a very limited amount of fabric, so I have to wait til yardage arrives to do  some of the things I really want to do.

Not everyone who buys fabric makes quilts so I felt like I needed to show other things made from the line. Above is a very simple bag that I made using 2 of the red prints with the green diamond print. I love the green with the reds. I am sucker for vintage florals so I am super happy with the florals in the line.
Here is a little cosmetic bag made from a couple of prints from the blue colorway. I don't think you can beat plaids and florals. One of the patterns that will be coming soon features the floral and plaid for borders. Keep watching for more. And if you like what you see, be sure to ask your local quilt shop to pick it up!
Happy Quilting, Dawn
