Girl's Weekend

I am back from my girl's weekend and I feel as if a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. As much as I love my family and my quilting job it was wonderful to leave it all behind for a few days. We had a great time just visiting and relaxing. Our cabin was gorgeous and very homey with anything you might need. It is located in Cameron Mo. at the Soggy Bottom Campgrounds. Totally private and very picturesque.
We spent Saturday shopping. We hit all the antique shops in the Jamesport/Cameron area, and there are plenty. We also drove around to many of the Amish stores. I bought lots of teas, cherries and jams. We also went to one of the best stores I have been to in a long time. It is called the Primitive Peddler. Their website is http://www.cthepeddler.com/. It was just gorgeous with tons of goodies. They had some of the best Halloween stuff and I am a Halloween freak.

Along with all my "grocery" purchases I bought; Robyn Pandolph fabric that you can't find anymore, an old picnic basket, a tureen, an old bunny figure, bulbs for my flicker lamp, a bracelet, braided placemat, and some pears. The photo is at the top because I have no control of the stupid image thing. I really need a course in managing my blog. But anyway, you see we had a great time and now it is back to work.
