In 12 days we will be on our way to France. I am so excited to be able to teach at Pour l'Amour du Fil
and share my new book. While I don't have an actual copy in my hand I do have some images to share. Above is my Sugar Stacks quilt. I LOVE this quilt. The beautiful European Taupes complement the nubby texture of the Diamond Textiles wovens. It goes together quickly and really makes a statement.
This fun little quilt is Dorset. It is made from Cottonworks by Minick and Simpson for Moda. This fabric is so fun to work with. It is a very nice cotton woven that looks and feels like wool.
The wool applique piece I am teaching in France uses the Cottonworks for the background.
You can see it works well with wool. There are opening for this class in France. You can sign up HERE.
And this is the last image I will share today. Birds of A Feather done in wool on cotton. I love the styling that Quiltmania has done for all the quilts in the book. They have made each of the 17 quilts just sparkle. I hope you have enjoyed this preview. I will be back at the end of the week with more images from the book.
Happy Quilting, Dawn
Squeal! They are all beautiful. Have a super time in France!
